4 Make-up looks straight from the catwalk... that you can actually wear!

2 October 2014

As in fashion, beauty and make-up change every season. Designers get inspired by their collections to finish off a look that they have been working on for months. As Autumn sets in, start introducing these new make-up styles to try and give a twist to your normal routine.

Metallic Hues

Try a metallic rose shadow for the day with a touch of blush, or cover your eyes in a silver "lining" for a dance-all-night-long look.

No Make-up Selfie

Cheat on your 'no make-up selfie' with a natural look that will get people wondering what your secret is. Mix your foundation with a touch of golden highlighter, add a subtle pink or apricot blush, depending on your complexion. Comb your eyebrows and apply just a touch of mascara.

Colour Me Up

Designers said goodbye to the boring smokey eyes – so overdone. Pop some colour into the grey autumn days! A blue cat's eye will look great for the day, while an army green or orange screams after hours. Go all in, matching your eye shadow with your nails.

All about the lashes

We all know the fixation of some English women have with eye lashes. We don't want to encourage you to go all TOWIE, but this season pamper your lashes and make them the start of the show. For fuller lashes add a little talcum powder, comb them gently and add mascara in the upper and lower lashes. Add a very fine eye liner and some nude lipstick and you're all set.
