Before your next shopping spree for Spring/Summer looks, think about what is already in your wardrobe. How you can wear those now and what you need to buy to make the item look fresh.
There are things that we most likely all own, like a white shirt, or a floral dress that are essentials in every wardrobe and that can easily look stylish once again with their right bit of imagination.
I have put together some ideas with items you might already have, see below!
1. White top/ shirt
- Revamp quickly a classic white shirt by wearing it under a delicate cami top, a crochet top or a knit vest as seen on Louis Vuitton.
- You can add an edgy vibe by wearing your shirt underneath a cute dress mini dress.

Floral dresses are a must for Spring/Summer, there are the easiest thing to throw over with sandals and go. But how to make you last season floral dress fresh so you don't get bored of it?
There are two ways of wearing a floral dress that we can learn from Ann Sui Spring Summer catwalk:
- With a fine knit jumper underneath: wear with knit jumper in a similar colour to the dress or a contrast hue to make it super fun.
- Grab one of your shirt dress and wear as a light jacket on top of the floral dress. You can go simple with a white shirt dress or a vertical stripe with similar colouring as the floral dress.

A great blazer is such a hero piece in a wardrobe! You probably have a few that you wear over and over with your jeans or work trousers, but how to make it Spring/Summer ready?
- Wear with a fun printed skirt. Try to match the colours of the blazer to the skirt, checks + leopard print go very well together, a classic black blazer can we worn with a great geometric skirt, and a pastel colour blazer with a contrasting pastel shade skirt.
- Just add shorts. That is the hottest take on a Spring/Summer suit, it can be a pair of bermuda denim shorts, a pair of beige safari style or some micro shorts as seen at Saint Laurent.

Our denim best friend is the go-to resource for all styling needs: a date? wear with a cute blouse and heels, an interview? add a blazer and slingbacks, an easy weekend look? a knit jumper and trainers. But how to give a fresh look to your favourite pair of blues?
- Go double - or even triple! denim! No, don't do a Britney and Justin, give the canadian tuxedo a chic vibe as seen at Celine. Keep the rest of the look very minimal.
- Grab your more grandma-ish cardigan and wear it all buttoned up or with knit bra peaking out like Katie Holmes's outfit that went viral. Add your trainers or a simple pair of mules for an effortless 'I just pull this out of the wardrobe' outfit.
