Sienna Miller. Or, how to 'boho' at any age

29 January 2015

You know how girls always have a girl crush they want to be like? Well mine is, Sienna Miller. I've had it since I watched "Factory Girl", where she plays Edie Sedgwick, Andy Warhol's muse, trend setter and drug addict. Sienna is a pioneer in the 'boho chic' mixing it up with a bit of a mod twist, like a good Londoner. We could see her around town with gorgeous tea dresses and ankle boots, little 60's dresses and floppy hats with micro shorts for the summer festivals.

But it seems like motherhood has made her into a super stylish yummy mummy, a more mature style that started with a flirty bob and a lack of unnecessary accessories, we love how she wears the trouser of the season, the culottes, with an oversize jumper and shirt underneath, or the winter essential, the knit dress in a colourful horizontal stripes that gives her the right amount of boho and the perfect amount of chic. Sienna's effortless style was greatly reflected in her cover for Vogue, like a folk singer meets indie kid, she wore eclectic combinations with fedoras and wellies while playing around in the field with her dogs and kids.

Be inspired by Sienna and add palazzo trousers and culottes to your work wear outfit mixing it up with striped shirts and cashmere knits. Invest in good quality and simple leather bags, like a bucket one, and keep the rest of accessories to a minimum, maybe a pair of statement sunnies or a choker necklace. That is the way to do a grown up boho, Sienna proves it right.
